On Rare Disease Day, we pause to think about the 300 million people worldwide living with a rare disease, and the families and carers who support them every day.

Stories like the recent BBC News report on a newly approved treatment for APDS are a powerful reminder of why this work matters. Behind outcomes like this are years of research, collaboration and careful planning, alongside the determination of patients and families who never stop pushing for change.

We were proud to play a small part in this journey by supporting a cross-functional UK team with a launch planning workshop, helping them identify the most efficient and realistic path to launch. It’s work like this that contributes to treatments reaching patients sooner, as reflected in stories like the one shared in June 2025.

On days like today, it’s clear that thoughtful collaboration and well-timed decisions can make a real difference.
